Vampire TV/Drama

The Representation of gender and sexuality in the vampire TV show

the TV drama true blood is aimed for adults and the sexuality is shown openly as it the nature of the world. true blood is where many kind of emotions comes in and sexual behavior is one of them and where they show the audience to express themselves and where character show their love towards each other. it is very different to the vampire diaries as it is aimed for young people and they did not have shown many sexual scene as much openly as in the true blood and in the vampire diaries the blood sucking sequence are not as much horrifying as the true blood, which shows the limits in the age audience wise and stop the drama making crew to cross the their limits.

as vampire is always have the thirst of the blood to feed themselves to keep them strong and healthy, and at the same level everyone in the show want to have the pleasure even the humans, vampire sexual behavior is shown differently in their power wise they moves are fast than the humans as they use their power to express and to make the scene more interesting. this done by the fast editing to make the scene faster and interesting and also to show the power of vampire used in varies way rather than just in fight. many vampire used they attractive power and sexual skills to trap the humans to feed on them.during the sexual scenes there two type of camera work is used the medium shots to show the body language and the close up to show the facial expression and the eye movement due to the lack of dialogues.

Sookie who is a woman and a main lead of the TV drama because she is the human angle and angle are to be caring and nice character which shows the importance of the woman in the modern world this show that the women now are more respected and have the some right. in the past it this role would have been played by the man because women were seen as weak and did not hold much importance as men. which made the mens to have the important roles for them and to women it would have been a supporting role.
