in begning there are lots of contnous cut and jump cuts to give scary feeling and sudden movement

it is very loud beats and it is diegetic music and in the background there is police siren noise which signified that it is to do something with murder or crimes.

mise en scene 
it was very sepia  and peeling finger skin with blade gives a scary and nasty feeling, it also gives this feeling of spying that this person is spying on the others and writing it so he can remember whenever he needed.
